Expert Analysis
Guilherme Torres | Prep Soccer Scout
Emmenegger played on the right side of RSL’s back three, and except for the Dynamo goal, when he was beaten by Cottle in a foot race in space, he was very difficult to get by. The center dominated the penalty box, blocking what could have been dangerous shots and intercepting passes. Emmenegger also stood out for his positioning and appeared in great spots to cover his teammates, making key tackles. His game on the ball was also effective, as he did a good job in possession, playing long passes out of the back.
