Schweer is an attacking midfielder on the Arlington Soccer Association U15 ECNL team. She was part of the U.S. U14 Girls National Team camp earlier this year.

Schweer is the type of player who is immediately obvious from a game at the youth level. She is a dominant presence in the center of the field. She can do-everything as the No. 10 and pops up all over the field.

Her instincts in the center of the field are a key part of her game and her team’s success. She runs the show in a lot of ways. She’s an exceptional passer with the quality on the ball to play with her head up at all times. She’s also great at getting to the spots to finish off the chance too.

Schweer is a big time prospect at the national level.

When she had possession, Schweer pushed the attack with quick feet and even quicker decisions. As the midfield opened, she played sharp through balls that forced the tempo forward. In transition, she fought for possession with real intent and kept her team connected through the middle third.

As plays shifted, she recovered into defensive shape with speed that stood out. With that work rate on both sides of the ball, she stayed an option as the match moved and gave the West consistent balance.
