Couldn’t find much of a highlight reel so difficult to truly gauge talent level but on paper it looks like a good fit.

Calvo is the left center back on the FC Stars Blue 09 ECNL team. She is a hard-nosed defender, willing tackler in the open field, and leader of the back line. The Stars center back pairing has been exceptional this season. Calvo’s ruthless determination in the tackle really sets the tone for the side. She’s done well in covering for teammates with her positioning. One of the strongest parts of her game is her decision-making on when to step with a mark to win the ball and when to drop off and let a teammate pick up the player. When she steps with her mark, she goes into the challenge with full conviction. She’s an impactful defender at the club level. She’s had some big time performances lately against the best forwards in the country.
