About Gabriel

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I prioritize keeping possession so I play simple. I am constantly scanning the field looking for the longer diagonal opportunities. I'm a very strong 1v1 defender and as a former track runner, I am also very fast, much faster than I look due to the long strides. It is very rare to see me get outrun in the open field. I win the ball in the air and have scored several goals on headers on set pieces.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I don't come out of the game unless I'm taken out of the game. I love to play the full match and I'm very communicative in the back. You'll hear my voice all game long. I love to train, but love game day even more. I work hard and I play hard. I may not always be the best player on the field, but I'm consistently the one hustling up and down the field in transition.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Honor Society, President of LCA Investment Club, VP of Student Council. Headmaster's List (perfect GPA) for every semester in High School.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I love to take the lead in projects in school and with my friends when making plans. I'm founder and President of the Life Center Investment Club, I participate in the Youth Power Group, where we help local underprivileged teens by mentoring them academically and athletically.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I moved a lot since I was little. Always having to be the new kid in school I had to find a way to adapt and make friends quickly. I love to enter new environments, probably because of those moves in my early childhood. It also gave me a love for new challenges and trying new things.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would love to attend a school with high level academics, that also offers a very competitive soccer program. I would love to go to college in a vibrant environment where I can be myself and I can help others.
