She is a player who can create and build up play in the attacking third. Her field awareness and scanning help to find players in open pockets while making quick and precise passes. Her level of fitness and stamina makes her a key part of the central area while providing a push on offense, tracking back to make defensive stops, or compacting the defensive third. Gigi’s ability to use off-the-ball movements creates open pockets and allows runners to get into the 18 to create high-percentage scoring opportunities. I look forward to seeing her play a big part in Carondelet’s upcoming season and run at the playoffs next season, as they look to return a bunch of key players with the intention to go far in the tourney.
