Vo was one of Dallas’best players in the match, keeping his level of play high and his errors low during the entire time he was on the field. Playing as a left wingback, he was very solid defensively, reading long passes well and getting to the ball first, and having success in most of the 1v1 duels out wide. Vo also did well in possession, passing the ball intelligently and helping Dallas progress it into the attacking half. In the second half, when his team pushed more strongly for an equalizer, he was more present in the attacking half, stepping into the penalty box on a few occasions, but couldn’t find the forwards with his crosses.

Capable of playing in midfield and on the backline, either as a center or a left back, he seamlessly transitions from one position to the other during matches thanks to his high soccer IQ. Despite not being super physical, Vo is extremely solid defensively, reading plays very well and stepping up to intercept passes. The midfielder also has tremendous quality in his left foot and passes the ball with great efficiency, breaking lines and finding teammates in good spots with long balls.

Vo had a strong performance in the backline for FC Dallas . He started the match playing as a left-sided center back and was very good at cutting passing lanes and anticipating, reading plays very efficiently and quickly stepping up to get to the ball first. Vo also played a major role in the team’s buildup, using his talented left foot and excellent vision to connect great passes out of the back. He moved to left back in the second half and displayed good quality to support the team’s offense, hitting the crossbar with a shot and getting a header just a few inches too high.
