Expert Analysis
Roshelle Gobin | Prep Soccer Scout
Mizzo’s ability to play both defense and midfield makes her a standout talent and explains why she’s ranked first at her position in the class. Her dynamic movement and shiftiness, combined with impressive speed, make her hard to take your eyes off.
One of Mizzo’s most dangerous qualities is her knack for transitioning out of the back. She wins possession with authority, then drives forward through the middle with ease, often finishing the play herself. This seamless transition from defense to attack not only poses a constant threat to opponents but also defines her style of play and sets her apart as one of the top players in her class.

Mizzo is a defender on the Arlington SA 2011 ECNL team. She is part of the US Soccer U15 Girls National Team. She can play anywhere on the field at the club level. Her future at the international level is at outside back. She is a two-way weapon in that role. She has the pace and defensive instincts to shutdown wingers. She has the dribbling and ball control quality to be put her among the best in that category. She is a capable of finisher on either foot, which opens up the opportunity to get at the opposition off either foot. Mizzo has all the quality to be a starting player for the US Youth National Team in the future.
