About Gia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my style as fast and technical, with strong vision to create plays for my teammates. I stay calm under pressure, bring high energy and endurance every game, and I’m always prepared to compete at my best.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am highly focused and thoughtful, guided by my faith. I have a strong work ethic, tend to be quiet, put others first, and let my actions reflect my values.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in Musical Theater/Drama, Track, Reading Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Chorus, Chamber Singers, Science Club, Photography Club, and Knochappela.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed teamwork & leadership skills through becoming a soccer referee, where I manage games & make quick decisions. I’ve also grown in compassion & community service by volunteering at a nursing home, supporting residents & connecting with people. Also, I was honored as a ‘Leader in Me’ recognition leader at my school, which reinforced my commitment to to to guiding & inspiring others.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can continue playing soccer while pursuing a strong health sciences program. I value a campus with a supportive faith community and opportunities that will help me grow as both a student and a person.
