Berardi was listed as a defender on the recent US Soccer Regional Mini-Camp roster. She’s primarily played in an attacking role for her club team so the position change is an interesting development for projecting her future.

She’s an excellent passer and creative in the final third. She’s quick to make decisions on the ball and shown excellent quality in the transition moments of the game. There is a path to her being an option as a wingback, but it’s hard to imagine taking that quality away from the attack for her club team.

Berardi comes from a highly competitive soccer family and she could end up being the best of the bunch.
