I love Nurisso as a player, and have written about her several times over the years. She is very deserving of the praise she receives, but her inclusion as a non-committed player is sad. A knee injury cost her the most important recruiting period of her young career. She returned and is still a great player. She is an outside back with tremendous speed and ability to get forward, and to play on the ball. She can take defenders on, she can cut in or beat them down the line. She can shoot with either foot and is very good at creating opportunities for herself. Her link up play is also fantastic as she combines well with the forward on her side. When she goes to the corner with the ball, she usually sends in a lethal cross, and as a defender she’s intense, she’s strong and determined to win the ball.
