Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am a versatile and strong striker and playmaker. Every moment that I get on the pitch is dedicated to advancing and finishing. I have a high soccer IQ and with determination I energize my team to play strategically and cohesively. I have the ability to score anywhere inside or outside of the box. I am the team mate that my team can rely on in high pressure situations.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a type A personality. I have clear and planned out goals that I strive to achieve everyday. I thrive on challenges and doing what will push me outside of my comfort zone. I enjoy learning and utilizing what I learn. I thrive off of feedback and always pushing myself to improve in everything that I do.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
As a freshman I am on the speech and debate club, chess club, and business club at my school. I am working to compete. In the past, I won 3 awards in debate and diplomacy as a part of the M.U.N club.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I am the captain of my high school varsity flag football team. As a captain I work to organize and empower my players of all abilities. I have learned that the stronger our players get the more cohesive we play. Leading them through defeats and victories has been transformative for me to understand how important it is to lead with positivity and encouragement.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Yes, I have faced many challenges. Challenges with overcoming injuries, moving teams, and learning different positions to contribute strategically. My approach towards challenges are to remember that they are always temporary and to focus on the lessons that they offer. If the lesson isn’t always clear right away, I pivot my focus until it is.
What type of college are you looking for?
I would like to go to an Ivy League school and other universities with high academic standards and the opportunity to contribute to their soccer team’s success.
