Smith and Challenge SC G06/05 will get to play United Futbol Academy, Beach FC and LA Breakers FC in the event. Smith plays a defensive midfielder role for them, but is actually heavily involved with their offense. Most of the team’s offensive plays either start from left foot or go through it at some point as Smith is one of the team’s main playmakers. She moves the ball around well in midfield and controls the tempo of the game with intelligence. Smith, who’s also tasked with handling most of the team’s set pieces, also does a very good of winning the ball back, especially when she uses her frame to do it.

Smith puts her stamp on basically every play created by Challenge SC ECNL G06 with her skilled left foot. She plays as more of a deep-lying midfielder and is great at finding space to get on the ball and initiate plays. Smith is also a very intelligent player, who knows when to push the pace or to build up on a slower rhythm and she really dictates Challenge’s offensive rhythm. A tall player, she also uses her size well to win aerial battles in the middle and intercept long passes. The midfielder is also a threat in set pieces, especially with her precise crosses.

Smith played in a very central position in Challenge’s midfield and controlled the team’s pace from there. She played next to Carrigan in the middle and the two complemented each other very well as while Carrigan made good runs on and off the ball and pushed the tempo, Smith used her more cerebral style to slow things down when needed. A lefty, she’s very talented on the ball and distributed it very well, always finding teammates in good spots to make plays. Smith also played an important defensive role with the team, using her great positioning and physical tools to make stops in the middle.

One of the most talented midfielders in the state, Smith controlled things in the middle for Cy-Fair throughout the season. She has a lot of tools and resources to impact the game offensively, but perhaps the most impressive one is her ability to carry the ball forward. A lefty, Smith uses her body really well to repel opponents and carries the ball really close to her feet, keeping it out of reach for opposing defenders. She can also pass really well and is very efficient when finishing plays inside the penalty box.

A talented playmaker, Smith is Cy-Fair’s most skilled offensive player. She makes things happen from her midfield position and is very creative and dangerous when on the ball. A lefty, she’s very clean and calm on the ball and often sees spaces no many others would, connecting with teammates in good spots. Smith is also very good at progressing the ball up the field on her own. Besides having good size and using it well to shield the ball, the midfielder is also great at changing directions and the pace of her runs.

Smith was the most talented player in Cy-Fair’s teams and, as so, played a central role in their offensive system. She was on the ball more often than anyone else and typically did good things when in possession. A lefty with good size, Smith can progress the ball up the field in a variety of ways as her repertoire includes the ability to find teammates on good spots and connect long passes but also an interesting technique to shield the ball as she moves forward through the middle

Smith was the offensive hub for Cy-Fair as basically every single play went through her feet at some point. She moved around well and got on the ball a lot, trying to connect with her teammates and make some solo runs through the middle. A lefty, Smith was very effective with her passing, finding teammates in good spots and disorganizing Atascocita’s defense. Her size also made of her a difficult matchup to anyone trying to stop her in the center of the field as she shields the ball incredibly well.
