Pazahanick and her Challenge SC 07 team are set to play Bethesda SC, WNY Flash and VDA in North Carolina. The midfielder is one of the team’s pillars with her high-energy game and plays a very important role for them, especially off the ball. Pazahanick covers a lot of ground, is very effective with her tackles, never gives up on plays and is capable of keeping a high level of intensity for entire matches. She’s also very skilled with the ball, connecting the vast majority of her passes and helping her team progress it to the final third.

Pazahanick was Challenge’s most consistent player, keeping a solid level of play from start to finish. Challenge’s defensive system relies a lot on her ability to cover ground and stop plays from her defensive midfielder position and she worked hard to get the job done. Pazahanick reads plays very well and often comes out of nowhere to cover her teammates and win the ball. She also contributed offensively with solid passing and good deliveries in set pieces.

A defensive midfielder who plays with great intensity and covers a lot of ground with her club team Challenge, Pazahanick is often used in a more advanced role with her high school team Klein Cain. Closer to goal, her quality on the ball makes more of a difference as she’s able to connect smart passes and finish chances. When playing that position, Pazahanick is great at attacking the space behind the backline and needs little time to control the ball and finish. She uses both feet well to beat defenders off the dribble and finish chances from inside or outside the penalty box.

With FC Dallas heavily dominating possession, Pazahanick wasn’t able to impact the game with her passing in the way she typically does, but she still had a solid performance on the defensive side of the game. With Challenge trailing from the start and pushing for goals, she was often by herself in central midfield and had to cover a lot of ground to stop transition plays. Pazahanick played with great energy until the final whistle and was strongly effective with her interceptions, winnng the ball back on several occasions.

A player will the all tools to play anywhere across the midfield, Pazahanick has more of a deep-lying role with Challenge SC 07. She plays with tremendous intensity, covering a lot of ground and protecting the team’s backline with her strong play. Pazahanick’s main asset as a defensive player is certainly her ability to read the game because she knows exact when to bait opponents at coming at her with the ball or when to chase them higher up in the field in order to get the tackle. She also has huge quality on the ball, connecting good passes from her deeper position and finding teammates with her great vision. Pazahanick plays as more of an attacking midfielder with her high school team Klein Cain and has good scoring instincts too.
