About Halliwell

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play simply and fast. I try to pass quickly out of trouble instead of overdoing it while dribbling. I play the way I face, and move off the ball to get it back and help our team efficiently move up the field. I love being part of quick build-out play and playing balls in between lines.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am not the loudest person on the field, but I am a very positive person. I try to always lift up the people around me. I am also competitive and hardworking. I always try to do everything to the best of my ability, and really focus and work hard when I am unsatisfied with something I know I can do better at.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

At school, I am part of Model UN, volunteer at the Lighthouse Program, and am part of the community service board. I have received high honors for all semesters of high school and the Head of School Academic Distinction.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

A skill I have developed is definitely teamwork. Being part of my high school and club teams has taught me that team success is always more important than individual success. Everyone has to contribute for a team to do well, and it relies on more than just one person. I also love community service, and it is very rewarding to help people who are not as lucky as I am.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was moved from the 1st to the 2nd team during my first year of ECNL. At first, I was really upset about it, but I got to play a lot on that team. I got so much better over the next two years, and we made Regionals both years. I really enjoyed my time on the team, and I improved a ton. I got moved back up to the ECNL 1 team last year, which I was so excited for, and it showed how my dedication pa

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for high academic schools, mainly on the East Coast. Academics are a major focus for me, and combining that with playing soccer would be exactly what I want. I am interested in Division 1 and Division 3 schools, and mostly smaller schools, but I am still open to larger schools as well.
