About Hannah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I pride myself on being the last line of defense before the net. At 5'10" I recognize the importance of my size, strength, and speed for our team. Physical conditioning is a top priority for me, and I use it to my advantage on the pitch. At our club we play a European influenced soccer style, so technique is of the utmost importance.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I consider myself to be a very organized and focused individual. I like to set goals in every aspect of my life, and then put strategies in place to achieve them. I try to keep a mindset that does not allow me to get comfortable so that I continue to push myself to get better.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm not currently involved in any non-sport clubs or organizations. However, as a freshman in high school, I'm really enjoying the experience, and see myself finding more ways to get involved in the future.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I'm working at becoming the best leader that I can both on and off the field. One of the best ways that I've learned to lead is by example. Always work hard and try to do the right things in every situation. I've also read a couple of books on leadership so that I can work to say the right things at the right times to motivate others. Leadership can be tricky, especially at a younger age.

What type of college are you looking for?

At this point, I'm very open. I've created a large list in hopes of "casting a wide net." I plan to narrow it down as I advance on my soccer journey and gain mutual interest from schools.
