The defender delivered a notably solid performance, consistently controlling her touches and locking down the line for MVLA. At key moments, she pushed the ball into space, helping her team transition forward and relieve pressure. She remained composed under defensive challenges and rarely lost her footing, which allowed MVLA to maintain structure at the back.

Furthermore, her ability to read the play and win multiple 1v1 duels stood out, providing much-needed stability throughout the match. Her presence anchored the defense and gave her teammates confidence in critical moments.

Garcia is headed to Pepperdine. The coaching staff at Pepperdine are excellent recruiters and as far as developing players is one of if not the best program in the country. I really like the style of play fit considering that MVLA is very possession based just like the Waves. Great fit.
