Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
My name is Harlan Jimeson. I’m known for my recovery speed, coachability, and ability to lock down 1v1 while contributing in the final third. I rely on my speed, but I'm great at crossing in the box, or even scoring a goal with the right opportunity.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m the kind of player who listens, adapts, and wants feedback because I always want to get better. I take pride in doing the hard work. I’m coachable, driven, and love to be challenged. It is helpful to be told when I am doing something right and coached on how to improve or fix a mistake.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I've helped my dad with coaching elementary and middle school sports teams at practice and weekends when I am off, including Fairfield Youth Football and Fairfield Basketball Association. I'm also involved in my local Young Life.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
At St. Joes we are taught to be servant-leaders and we must commit to doing acts of service throughout the year. I've helped with feeding the hungry, doing choirs at my local library. When I help my dad coach, I was like to focus on the kids that maybe struggling to grasp drills or concepts.
On the field I show resilience and humility. I’m vocal on the field and positive teammate.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Last year, I spent nearly a full season recovering from stress fractures in my spine. It was a tough setback, and it left me slightly behind in minutes, clips, and the recruiting process.
But it also fueled my passion for the game. Now I am all-in on becoming a stronger, smarter, and more durable player. I’ve built a daily routine around strength, mobility, and recovery.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’d love to be part of a school that values development in the classroom, on the field, and as a person. I’m especially interested in schools with strong Sports Management programs, and I’m drawn to big Southern campuses with great school spirit and high-level athletics.
