Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
In 2023, at age 14, I was first called-up to the Panama National U17 team, with 4 caps and 3 starts, including the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers in Toluca, MX in Feb of 2024. In November of 2024 I competed with the Panama National U16 team in the UNCAF FIFA Forward Tournament in Nicaragua, with 4 caps and 3 starts. At home I play for Santa Rosa United 09 ECNL and in the PDP State pool.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My experience as a national player has pushed me to adapt to new playing styles, embrace a different language, and immerse myself in a unique culture in a country that does not have the same training facilities as we are blessed to have in the USA. Traveling to various countries has further enhanced my awareness of the physical preparation required to perform in diverse climates.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I like to lead by example and put in work every day, both on and off the field. My favourite position is "on the field". I have strong 1v1 skills and attacking skills. As an outside back, I am able to join the attack, but quickly get back to defend. As a wing, I am able to quickly get back to help defend and then make the run on the attack.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
My experience with the Panama National U17 team demonstrates my ability to overcome language, climate and different play styles. My coaches have said that I am the only international player who has assimilated with the team. In 2024 I was away from home for 1 month while I traveled to Panama, Costa Rica, back to Panama and then Mexico. I maintained a 4.0 GPA, while taking an independent study.
What type of college are you looking for?
My goal is to play Division 1 soccer. Academics are equally important to me, and I strive for excellence in both my studies and on the soccer field. Ultimately, I aim to play professionally after college. I am committed and loyal, having stayed with my ECNL team through both highs and lows. My experiences with my ECNL team, PDP, and the Panama National U17 team have prepared me for the next level.
