Gordon is one of the better defenders you will find in the midwest. She does it all as a center back. She’s incredibly instinctive, knowing when to step for the ball or when to hold her ground and get ready to defend. She’s strong and physical as she takes the fight to the attacking player. She’s also very fast as she can keep with forwards, and she reads angles really well which allows her to beat attacking players to the ball.

Gordon is a no-nonsense outside defender. She is physical, unrelenting, and determined. Her highlight reel shows what she can bring at the next level. She is going to impose on the opposition with her aggressive approach. She can play either left back or right back. She is probably a right back at the next level. Her never-quit attitude is the best aspect of her game. There were a number of moments from GA games this season when she recovered on a play and stopped the attack because she just refused to lose the duel. The outside back should have the interest of plenty of scouts with that type of approach.
