Iva Mei Lian is a midifelder/forward on the Bethesda SC 2011/2012 ECNL team. She’s a late 2011 birthday. She’s one of three Bethesda 2011/2012 ECNL players at this event. She’s been called into the US Talent ID Center events in the past as well. She has also been called up to the Bulgaria U15 National Team.

She’s a skillful player with an excellent first touch. She’s confident with the ball on either foot. She can score and finds those pockets to create chances for herself. However, her playmaking is her best attribute. When she is running the show as a deep playmaker, she is great at finding the windows to split the defense with her passing. She unlocks the defense with her interior passing and creates chances for her team with her vision. She’s a confident player on the ball and will be one to watch at this event.

The center midfielder is so exciting to watch, and her game is always steps ahead. In possession, she reads pressure early and avoids it with her pace and distribution. She keeps play moving with clean touches and sharp decisions. As a result, the midfielder sets the tone in the middle for a key part of Bethesda’s passing game. She will be one to watch this Memorial Weekend, as her awareness and command in midfield should stand out immediately.
