Pomeroy is a left back on the Colorado Rapids MLS Academy. He is part of the US U16 Men’s Youth National Team. Pomeroy has emerged as one of the top professional prospects from the Rapids Academy in this class. Given the current trajectory for the Highlands Ranch-native, there is reason to believe he will be competing against older players by the end of the year. He’s an excellent defender. A bit of an uncharacteristic call-up for the Youth National Team, as his strength lies in not showing up much in game film. He doesn’t make many mistakes and does well in 1v1 duels. He’s a no nonsense type of outside back and tends to prefer the safe outlet when in possession. Pomeroy is going to have plenty of interest thanks to his dominant defensive play this season at the highest level of the youth game.
