Pondexter was added to our Rankings Watchlist. The goalkeeper is part of Crandall High School and features for Atletico Dallas in the Girls Academy League. Pondexter has good size, solid athleticism and firm hands, a combination that allows her to make nice stops between the posts, especially when dealing with high shots. The goalkeeper is very aggressive when she needs to step up and challenge opponents 1v1 and does a great job of limiting their options. Pondexter is very accurate with her long passing, too, and has the confidence neccessary to execute them out of the back.
