About Jacob

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a very smart ball player I know when to make the passes and what what best help the team in the game. I currently usually play LB, RB, CB, CM, CAM, CDM, and sometimes ST or LM/RM so I can be put in any position and work very hard to help the team. I am also somewhat technical I don't go over board with all the skills I just like to do a simple move just to make a better pass/shot for my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very hardworking and fun person. I work hard at practice but work even harder at games. I love soccer and will be willing to work as hard as possible to have a successful career in it.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in Track; Events: 100m:13.56, 200m:28.7, 400m:1:05.4, Long Jump: 13.1 feet. I am also involved in Cross Country; TImes: 1.5 miles: 9:38, 2 miles: 11:49. I have only done Cross country for 1 year and got really good times. This year will be my third year of track. I also do band.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am captain of my soccer team and am kind to many people I help people with assisted needs at my school every day with math.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced a challenge when we had to move to Kalamazoo from Midland because I didn't know what soccer would be like for me in a new area. but so it is not that bad.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for one that I can go to for academic classes and be on the soccer team there. I am wanting to Michigan State University.
