Russell wrapped up the season with All-Conference First Team honors a well-deserved recognition of her impact on the field. While her 1v1 ability is well known, another key aspect of her game is her awareness and willingness to support the play. Whether drifting wide or coming short, she doesn’t wait for the ball; instead, she finds space and actively asks for it. Moreover, her combination of sharp footwork and top-end speed allows her to beat defenders in a variety of ways. This mix of technical and tactical strengths makes Russell not only one of the top forwards in her class, but also a constant threat in the attack.
