Apparently Ping is one of the top runners in the state as well – as discovered while verifying graduation years for this list. He finished eighth overall, first among freshman in the City of Chandler Cross Country Championships in October with a sub 16-minute time. On top of being an elite runner, Ping is the captain of his Phoenix Rising MLS Next team. He plays as center forward, as the team utilizes that amazing work rate and race to put the opposition under constant pressure. He is not all speed. He is a pretty good finisher and does play in the midfield as well. The fact that he never gets tired on the field has to be frustrating to his opponent.
