Saucedo is a forward on the Chula Vista U16 MLS Next team. He plays on the left wing for his club team. He is right footed. He’s a scrappy player with pace. He’s a two-way player who is fearless in the tackle. Saucedo’s best moments this season came against Barca Residency Academy, one of the best teams in the country, last month. Saucedo’s two goals were key in the victory for his Chula Vista side. His pace, especially with the ball at his feet, is a difference-maker at the MLS Next level. He’s elusive on the dribble with quick-feet and smooth change of direction. He’s a selfish player in the final third with great instincts around the goal. Saucedo has emerged through the first part of the season as a top finisher in the MLS Next Southwest.
