About Jocelyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a student of the game. Aggressive when necessary. My strengths are reading the game, positioning, playing accurate passes, and finding spaces to play into.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Calm and composed. Learn from mistakes and then move on. I love laughing and having fun with my teammates when appropriate.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Honor Society, Liberty High School Grenadier Band

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a junior captain, I have learned to lead my team with positive words and actions. I also volunteer at youth camps where I help to both teach the game of soccer as well as have fun playing.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was benched in the beginning of my freshman season after making a mistake on the field. It lit a fire to work even harder to get better and by midsession I was a starter again.

What type of college are you looking for?

A midsized school with a fun and friendly vibe. A school that’s rich in tradition.
