About Jordyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My main focus is always to be in control. I try to possess and distribute the ball quickly. I try to be precise when making a pass and when I have an opening I strike. I am always scanning the field to find a teammate. I play Forward and attacking Midfield all in the same game but I am versatile in any position.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love soccer, family, friends, and life.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a social entrepreneur who founded my own 501(c)(3) charity, Soaring Samaritans Youth Movement https://soaringsamaritansyouthmovement.org/ that I have been running for nine years. I deliver school supplies, clothes, soccer balls, and humanitarian aid all around the world.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Balancing academics with sports is a challenge and that has taught me to use time management skills to do my best. It is a delicate equilibrium of dedication, time management, and support from family, coaches, and teachers.

What type of college are you looking for?

The ideal college for me is one that has a top rigor to challenge me and a balance between academics and athletics. I feel this would cultivate both aspects of student life and provide a supportive environment where I can achieve my full potential, academically and athletically.

Jackson is a player on the rise. I’ll admit to missing her when the rankings were updated a couple of months ago, and after I alerted to her, I wrote this evaluation here in this link. Everything said in that analysis remains the case. She moves very well on the pitch, she makes possession and distribution look easy because of her combination of technical skills and her composure. I noted before that she is lethal when she sends in a cross, but upon watching her most recent film, she’s also a very dangerous player when taking corner kicks. She can take them from either side, and send a ball swinging in or out and it will be really dangerous. She also has really good speed, her foot skills are fun to watch as she likes to get out in space, take on defenders and create. She works really hard, she gets up and down the pitch and is a lethal player no matter where she is.
