Forward. Youth National Team. Relentless.

Boney is a forward on the Barca Academy U15 MLS Next team. He was previously part of the Atlanta United academy. He can play at center forward or on the wing. There’s a lot of obvious traits that suggest a bright future for Boney – pace, skill, and intelligence. The aspect of his game that I think speaks the highest to his future is his dogged determination defensively. He’s over six-feet tall and uses those long legs in the tackle to consistently win duels. He is a more active and committed defender than almost any other forward in this class. The mentality to help his team win will make him a favorite for any coach at the next level.
