Jurado is listed as the fifth-best goalkeeper in the state and shows up in 28th place overall in Texas. After spending the last two seasons in Austin, where he represented Austin FC and Capital City SC in the MLS Next League, he returned to the El Paso area this summer to join El Paso Locomotive FC in the USL Academy League. His body control is one of the things that stand out the most in his game, and allows him to perform impressive saves, especially when going against short-range finishes. Jurado also does very well when it comes to controlling the penalty box in the air, as he reads the ball’s trajectory accurately and expertly navigates the box to get to it. He has good vision to put the ball back in play and often finds teammates in good spots with his throws, starting attacking plays.

Jurado was the starting goalkeeper of the Capital City SC U16 team during the season. A product of Austin FC ‘s academy, the goalkeeper has superior technical skills and is very intelligent between the posts. Because of his excellent reflexes and his explosiveness, he performs well above average when it comes to stopping short-distance shots and getting saves in 1v1 situations. Jurado controls the penalty box very efficiently and is very good at turning defense into offense with accurate long throws that, at times, get to teammates far up on the field.

Jurado was part of the Capital City SC U16 MLS Next team that tied Hawaii Rush 09B East 1-1. It was a very open match, with solid goalscoring opportunities for both sides, and the goalkeeper came up big for his team with several stops. Jurado displayed remarkable technical skills to stop close-range shots and also handled the crosses sent into his team’s penalty box well. He was very efficient with his feet and was very good at getting the ball to his teammates far up on the field with long and accurate throws.
