About Kaia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Currently I play for Mustang 2009 ECNL and I play for Coach Rachel Mercik. I am a left footed starting center back for Mustang at 5ft 9. I am also very proud to be a team captain to show my leadership skills. My strengths are seen through communication out of the back, 1v1 defending, winning the ball in the air, and my distribution out of the back. I also play PDP NorCal state. All Conference ECNL

A strong, physical presence in the midfield, Wescott is also a dynamic player in terms of her ability. She is not only a ball-winning defender who knows when to stop for the ball and plays strongly in the air, but she also has tremendous ball skills and goal-scoring ability. She can read play well, and step in front of a pass, and when she does she can carry the ball up the pitch or make a pass that breaks lines. She is also tremendously dangerous on corner kicks and set pieces showing is very dangerous when attacking a ball with her head.
