A strong, physical presence in the midfield, Wescott is also a dynamic player in terms of her ability. She is not only a ball-winning defender who knows when to stop for the ball and plays strongly in the air, but she also has tremendous ball skills and goal-scoring ability. She can read play well, and step in front of a pass, and when she does she can carry the ball up the pitch or make a pass that breaks lines. She is also tremendously dangerous on corner kicks and set pieces showing is very dangerous when attacking a ball with her head.

Wescott is the captain of the Mustang SC 09 ECNL team. She plays as the left center back for the team. She is excellent at dropping off to support her teammates. She is always in option in the pass because of the work she does off the ball. She’s left footed but looks comfortable under pressure with the ball on either foot. Wescott is a solid defender. She moves her feet well and stays in front of the attacker. Wescott is a good leader on the field and a key player for her team’s success.
