About Kailey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as hardworking, competitive, and team focused. I always try to bring energy to the field, stay positive, and do whatever helps my team succeed. I’m coachable, determined, and willing to put in extra work to improve my skills.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would describe my personality as outgoing, supportive, and motivated. I like encouraging my teammates and creating a positive environment while still pushing myself to be better every day. I’m responsible, dedicated, and enjoy building strong relationships with the people around me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved with FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Circle of Friends where I work with and participate in activities with students with special needs. I was also recognized and selected to play with the DPL International Team!

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through sports, I have developed leadership, teamwork, communication, and time management skills. Being part of a team has taught me how to work well with others, stay disciplined, and support people around me both during competition and in everyday life.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One significant challenge I’ve faced has been balancing school, sports, and personal responsibilities. Managing everything at once has taught me how to stay organized, focused, and resilient even during stressful situations.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can grow both academically and athletically! I want a school that feels like a home, pushes me to improve, and gives me opportunities to succeed in my future nursing career and in my sport.
