Albion’s main playmaker, Baquero wasn’t as present as usual at the start of the match, but that changed after HTX scored. The attacking midfielder started looking for the ball more often and moved extremely well on the field to give options to his teammates, at times getting the ball directly from the center backs and on other occasions operating between HTX’s lines. His accurate passing and vision helped set up many offensive plays. Baquero was also dangerous with his set pieces and helped the hosts get the last-second equalizer off of a corner kick.

Baquero and the Albion Hurricanes FC B06 will play against Sporting Iowa, Minnesota Thunder and NCFC Youth Academy in Florida. Expect him to be the team’s main playmaker, playing as a traditional No. 10, who gets the ball in the attacking half and makes things happen with his passing. Baquero reads the game well and is very good at getting into good spots to make plays. His vision has the potential to unlock backlines and he doesn’t need a lot of time on the ball, often playing one-time passes. Baquero is also very strong in set pieces.

Albion’s main creative player, Baquero was well-defended by BVB, but was still very involved in the game. He moved around the entire field to get on the ball, occasionally even coming next to the center backs, and always connected good passes. Baquero didn’t have many chances to find key passes in the final third, but always moved the ball well and quickly, finding teammates in good spots with his one-time passes and impressive vision.
