About Kate

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm an aggressive player who plays tough, physical defense and gets up the field into the attack. My experience playing defender and winger allows me to quickly counter in transition and take or find open space to create opportunities. I also play midfield in high school so I have a solid vision of the field. I'm comfortable on both sides of the ball, in the middle, left or right side.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm tough against my opponents but encouraging of my teammates. I'm energetic and like to hype up my team before games. I don't give up.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Hauberk Yearbook,Beign second place sports writing award, Staff Writer, Social Media Editor SHARE (student-led volunteer club) Principal's Honor Roll, 4 semesters

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being an underclassman starter on varsity for two years has given me the opportunity to observe strong senior leadership and teamwork that I will promote as an upperclassman this coming year. Teamwork can win over talent. Positive team culture is super important. I am having fun this summer volunteering at the HS youth soccer camp.

What type of college are you looking for?

High academic with strong business program, centralized campus, preferably less than 20,000 students.
