About Kaylyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My primary position is midfielder. My specialties include winning runs down the sideline, always making an effort to be first to, taking all corners and free kicks with tactical awareness, and taking all throw-ins on my sideline with quick accuracy.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have always been eager to continue my learning at a higher level and want to remain competitive in the classroom as well as the field. Through my high school soccer career, I have established myself as a leader among my teammates, earning the team captain title this season.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

AP classes, varsity track discus thrower, National Honor Society, Student of the month, FFA Chapter President, FFA District Officer, FFA State Finalist in Spanish Creed Speaking This summer I will travel to DC as a National Youth Delegate to the Washington Youth Summit on the Environment, one of only 300 students across the country.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I hold leadership roles as team captain and also in the FFA organization. Outside of school, I love to give back to the game as a US Youth Soccer Referee. I am also active in my church youth group and volunteer with Youth for Impact.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I am a hard worker. I excel at balancing school work with my sports and extra curriculars. My father is disabled and I also help run our family farm.

What type of college are you looking for?

Smaller size college in Texas, college with an Agriculture program
