About Keira

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have a high soccer IQ and can read the game well. I am effective at playing out of the back as an outside back and stay wide to play into the attack. My strong technical skills allow me to connect well and settle balls out of the air. I have good control the playing the ball up the line. I am very dangerous on a dead ball. I work very hard to be consistent on corners and free kicks.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am very hard worker and spend extra time to perfect my game. I think my mental toughness is an asset in games as I remain calm and focused. I have faced some of the best attacking players in the GA and those match ups have made me a stronger mental player. Knowing where to be on the field and constantly reading the game helps.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a 4.0 honors student. I am on the junior board and Huskie crew leader for the Freshman. I am an adapted PE leader where I work with special needs students and I volunteer with special needs students through TOPSoccer at Galaxy SC. I'm also a TopDawg which is a leadership program at my high school. I am also a Student Visionary for 2025/26 for The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Our club has a TOPSoccer program for players of all availabilities that I volunteer at and I am a adapted PE leader at school. I am also a Huskie Crew leader which is a student ambassador to our freshman students and a TopDawg which is a leadership program at my high school. I am also a Student Visionary for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS).

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I played with a significant injury during Champions Cup which was diagnosed when I returned home. It required PT and I sidelined out most of the winter during prime Identification time. I was determined to come back stronger and made my varsity team this spring season which is ranked in top 10 in our state.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am very focused on finding the right academic and soccer fit. I have a strong interest to go into the health sciences, and I’m looking for a school where I can play and accomplish my academic goals. I am interested in schools in the East Coast and Midwest but am open to programs that feel like a good fit. The school can be midsized as ling as the academics are strong.
