How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’d describe my gameplay style as aggressive, yet controlled. I focus on staying composed under pressure while quickly reading the game. I’m proactive in coming off my line to cut out through balls and crosses, but also confident in my positioning to make key saves when needed. Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

As a goalie, my mentality is focused, resilient, and confident. I thrive under pressure and see each challenge as an opportunity to improve. I stay calm, trust my training, and learn from every situation. I’m a vocal leader, motivating my teammates and organizing the defense to stay solid.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am not currently involved in any clubs or organizations outside of sports. However, I focus a lot on my soccer development and personal growth, both on and off the field. I am always looking for ways to improve my skills and contribute to my team’s success.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a goalie, I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills by helping organize the defense and direct my teammates. I stay composed under pressure and value teamwork, knowing my success depends on my defenders. Off the field, I encourage a positive team environment and motivate others to improve.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, I’ve faced several challenges, including recovering from injuries and taking a year off for mental health/school. When I returned, I joined a new club and had to rebuild my confidence. As a freshman on varsity, I was often the youngest player in an important position, which brought pressure. These experiences taught me resilience, perseverance, and leadership, helping me grow both mental

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that balances academic excellence and competitive athletics, where I can continue growing as both a student and athlete. I want a program that challenges me as a goalie and values teamwork, discipline, and hard work, with a supportive environment for personal growth both on and off the field.

Franks plays for the Barbers Hill team that will compete in the Tiger Bracket, having Fort Bend Travis as their first opponents. She has been a starter for them since her freshman season and has continued to improve her game over the years. Franks operates very well between the posts, using her positioning and reflexes to make stops, and is very quick and determined when she has to leave her spot, responding well when she has to handle crosses or make stops in 1v1 situations. Another interesting aspect of her game is how quickly and efficiently she puts the ball back in play after making a save, often initiating quick transition plays.
