Keven is a central midfielder for Atlanta United . He is an all action midfielder. He can cover a lot of ground and has the athletic ability to press in defense and also make late runs in the box in the attack. The way he approaches the game should be exciting for college scouts. He understands how the important the physical fitness side of the game is combined with good technique.
He is a player who is also comfortable on the ball and can also find himself on the score sheet. He is a versatile all around good midfielder that would be an asset for a lot of college programs. Along with his status with Atlanta United , he also represents Puerto Rico at the U18 national team level.

Medrano is a midfielder/forward on the Atlanta United U15 MLS Next team. He played for Southern Soccer Academy in MLS Next last season. Medrano played with some position flexibility last season. He floated lines and had the green light to take over the game when he saw the opportunity. His performance against Altanta United in that last league game was probably one of the big reasons why he was recruited to join the nearby MLS academy. There are a few elements of his game that remind me of Clint Dempsey. He has that edge to his game – and a bit of swagger to his strut on the field. He takes a free kick in the same way as well. The way he dribbles and leaves a trailing leg to draw fouls – as well as his physical profile have a lot of characteristics of Dempsey’s game. Medrano has done well in his first few games with Atlanta United this season.
