About Kiana

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Creative, composed, and relentless. I’m a technical midfielder who thrives on vision, quick decision-making, and connecting play. I love dictating tempo, finding pockets of space, and creating scoring opportunities for my teammates while staying defensively responsible

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m driven, coachable, and team-first. I hold myself to a high standard both on and off the field, and I’m always looking for ways to grow. I stay positive under pressure and bring consistent energy, leadership, and focus to everything I do.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m actively involved in the National Charity League, where I participate in community service and leadership activities. I’ve also received academic honors for maintaining a 4.3 GPA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through soccer and community service, I’ve developed strong leadership and communication skills. As a midfielder, I’m constantly organizing and supporting my teammates on the field. Off the field, my involvement in National Charity League has taught me the importance of service, humility, and giving back. I’ve learned how to work with different types of people, manage my time effectively,

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Developing later than some of my peers. I've been overlooked—not because I lacked skill, but because I hadn’t physically caught up yet. Over the past year, I’ve committed myself to the weight room, and as I’ve finally hit a growth spurt, I’ve become a completely different player—stronger, faster, and more confident. It’s made me tougher and more focused.

What type of college are you looking for?

Looking for a strong Division I soccer program where I can compete at the highest level, while also pursuing my academic interests in Mandarin and International Business.
