It took only minutes of watching NC Fusion 2010 play to see that Guardado is different than her peers. The midfield maven of the NC Fusion squad is a joy to watch. She possesses wonderful close control of the ball and a plethora of skills to leave defenders on their behinds quite often during the game. She has a powerful shot with either foot and often tests the goalkeeper with an effort from distance. Guardado is a player with big-time potential. She’s a bit off the radar this season, but the talent is very clearly there.
