Kylie is an extremely talented creative midfielder who plays best in a freer role behind the attack. She represents the Salvadoran U-17 national team, scoring a few goals in the process. Her creativity is far beyond what is expected at this level. The passes she picks out are superb. It’s not just seeing the passing lane that’s impressive, though. The way she plays them is wonderful to watch. Her agility to get out of tight spaces wherever she is on the pitch is remarkable. She does not feel pressure at all, even when she’s surrounded by markers more physical than her. In the box, she also has an eye for goal. The same way she plays her passes is the same way she finishes chances, calm and composed. Her talent will surely see her become a stellar player in the near future.

It took only minutes of watching NC Fusion 2010 play to see that Guardado is different than her peers. The midfield maven of the NC Fusion squad is a joy to watch. She possesses wonderful close control of the ball and a plethora of skills to leave defenders on their behinds quite often during the game. She has a powerful shot with either foot and often tests the goalkeeper with an effort from distance. Guardado is a player with big-time potential. She’s a bit off the radar this season, but the talent is very clearly there.
