About Lauryn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Comfortable in a possession style with a natural ability to attack from the wide areas, excellent distributor of the ball, and strong 1v1 defending skills.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a strong work ethic on and off the field. I have a burning desire to win. I am a team captain for my club team and a natural leader.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of the junior honor society. As an 8th grader, I was selected by my teachers for the leadership award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being team captain is an honor and something I’m very proud of. I support my teammates off and on the field and they are some of my very best friends! I’ve started offering trainings to younger kids and it brings me so much joy.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Injury is always a tough challenge. I’ve sprained my ankles, broken toes, pulled muscles. Have always pushed through and learned to take better care of my body.

What type of college are you looking for?

My goal is to play at the division 1 level. Hoping to commit to a program with history of a winning culture and outstanding academics.
