About Leo

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with high intesity throughout the game. As an attacking center mid I am involved in the attack and thrive in helping on defense as well. I have calculated and strategic passes and have a great touch. My speed and athleticism helps me as an attacking mid-fielder.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I thoroughly enjoy and love the game and have the desire to play college ball. I started on varsity as Freshman, which was a great experience. I also made the difficult decision to leave the many friends I had played with for years and switched to a more competitive club team at St Croix ECNL. Our team won our division and went to ECNL Nationals.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I also play high school basketball and attend youth group at my church.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I was name captain of my soccer team, I help volunteer with youth soccer and I mow lawns part time for my neighbors.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Staring on varsity as a freshman was a challenge as most of the players are seniors. These players were physically stronger than me but I learned to adapt and out smart and play them with my speed and technical ability.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am undecided at the moment but prefer to attend a college that provides a great education and college experience while playing soccer at a high level.
