F Alexis Fragnito, Syracuse DA – Fragnito was dominant in the opening win over Lamorinda with four goals. The center forward had defenders bouncing off of her in every game. She finished the event with five goals.

Headed to Penn State in 2027. Fragnito is an excellent pick up for the already stacked Nittany Lions. She has an excellent first step, great instincts in front of goal and a top athlete. The Syracuse Development Academy standout was the Girl’s Academy Finals MVP and is headed to a great program although having an off year by their standards at 9-7-3 and just losing to UCLA in the first round of the Big 10 tournament. Great fit.

Fragnito is the highest riser from our summer event coverage. She was an early commit to Penn State and looks to be a key piece of one of the best recruiting classes from the 2027 group – she is one of four verbal commits to Penn State in the top 30 of our national rankings.
Fragnito has all the tools to be an immediate contributor at the next level – and is sure to continue to generate interest from the professional level. She recently trained with Gotham FC. She’s a multi-tool forward who can influence the game in a variety of ways.

This game is going to come down to Fragnito for a few reasons. She dictates the play for her side and she also forces the opposition into difficult decisions. She was exceptional in the Group Stage and very well could be the MVP of the event if she continues to play at that level.
