The reigning national champions Real Colorado owe a lot of their success their All-World center back Georgia commit. She reads the game so well and seems to be first to every ball in her vicinity. Excellent speed and awareness as well. Top player with a bright future.

Lilly Osifodurin was a difference-maker on the back line. The 5’9″ CB stopped a fast break opportunity in the second half vs Penn Fusion with a lethal tackle to clear the ball out of bounds. Likely saving a goal. Her 5’9″ size gave her a tremendous ability to win 50/50 balls as she won a ton of them throughout this contest.

Real Colorado deserves a few spots on this team. The group was the only team that went through the playoffs without conceding a goal. The performance in Washington makes Real Colorado the favorite heading to Richmond this month for the quarterfinals. It takes a full team effort for that type of display. Osifodunrin is getting the spotlight in this team because I was blown away by her consistency from every Real Colorado game. It felt like the center back was unbeatable. She was the Player of the Event for me.
