National honor society, Impact Show choir, student council senior class president, Impact tenor, 1 rating in state show choir, New life church youth volunteer, JRotc freshman and junior years
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I want to make my team better. Constantly setting up team kick arounds. I will build up my defenders, I will give a helping hand to an injury player. Soccer has helped me realize it’s important to build people up and not tear them down. You work hard for them and they’ll work hard for you.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
As a goalie, you sometimes are on an island and have to be mentally tough. I have had tough games but always use it to build up my teammates. I have had many recent family losses that I’ve had to work through and has helped my realize what’s important and use my dads motto of make every day count. Train hard, be a great teammate and give it your all.
What type of college are you looking for?
I want to go into aerospace engineering and looking at schools with top engineering and soccer programs. I want to push my academics along with joining a soccer program that fits me and has a family/team/faith atmosphere.
