Fresh off a remarkable junior campaign, Abboud-Young tallied 34 goals and 8 assists. She enters her senior season with momentum and high expectations. After Blake High School’s state runner-up finish last year. Her and the squad are even more motivated to take the final step. Early in the fall, she is already on the scoresheet with both goals and assists. This start reinforces her reputation as one of the state’s elite attacking talents. Abboud-Young consistently makes an impact in decisive moments. As she looks to cap her high school career before heading to the University of Minnesota. Abboud-Young needs no introduction. The US Youth National Team player lined up in a couple of positions during the win over Challenge. It’s easy to see her potential at outside back. The burst she has with the ball at her feet makes her tough to stop. She breezes past players with that dynamic quality. I thought she forced a couple of passes in trying to drill the ball into her teammates feet, but that was part with Thunder trying to chase the winning goal. This is a nitpick though.
