Gwin is a stellar goal scorer. She has the ability to weave in and out of traffic, to create goals on her own and to put her team on her back, delivering the big goal when they need it. She has great foot skills, showing a lot of ability and smarts when on the ball. She can finish with both feet, doing so from range or finishing clinically up close. She facilitates play very well, and shows an advanced understanding of the game.

A dangerous player who caught a few eyes in Seattle with a marked impact on her team, Gwin is going to be another focus for So Cal in their quarterfinal. Playing in this strong rotation should give her opportunities to play, rest, and repeat and get consistent action on the front line to showcase her ability.

Gwin is one of the players who made the biggest jump up the rankings in this update. For those who have been following our coverage, this is probably no surprise.
