Gwin equalized for Slammers and the future Arkansas Razorback was everywhere in midfield today. The mark of a great midfielder is making positive plays on both ends and limiting negative ones. Gwin did just that Slammers. Back at it tomorrow against a tough Sting side that beat last years finalists Crossfire 3-0.

The 2025 Arkansas recruiting class is forward-heavy so there could be a logjam for playing time when Gwin arrives in 2026. However, this is a bet on talent and drive when selection Gwin as one of the most impactful recruits in this class.
The Southern California standout has been improving every single season and her play last summer during the ECNL playoffs showcased just how good she can be – even against the best defenders in the country. The recent international experience with the ODP National Team in Italy will help develop and improve her game even more.
Gwin’s game-breaking quality should fit in well with Arkansas’ style of play. It also helps the Arkansas coaching staff has coached some incredible forwards in the past, and should be able to get the most out of the Camarillo-native.

Gwin is a stellar goal scorer. She has the ability to weave in and out of traffic, to create goals on her own and to put her team on her back, delivering the big goal when they need it. She has great foot skills, showing a lot of ability and smarts when on the ball. She can finish with both feet, doing so from range or finishing clinically up close. She facilitates play very well, and shows an advanced understanding of the game.

Playing in this strong rotation should give her opportunities to play, rest, and repeat and get consistent action on the front line to showcase her ability.

Gwin is one of the players who made the biggest jump up the rankings in this update. For those who have been following our coverage, this is probably no surprise. The So Cal Blues standout impressed in the fall, and then put together a stellar high school campaign which earned her player of the year honors. Gwin is going to be a top target for all of the big name programs in the country. Prolific scorers with her intangibles are rare, and highly valuable.
