Macy is a sophisticated and proactive defender who serves as a rock of her team’s buildup play. She has a mature composure on the ball. Rather than clearing the ball aimlessly, she owns the responsibility for initiating an attack, acting as the primary playmaker from the deepest line of the formation when she recovers possession.

Macy understands the value of the ball. Under pressure, she keeps possession whenever possible instead of forcing a low-percentage counter. She secures the ball and holds play for some time, allowing her teammates to regain their shape before going forward.

She comes from the juggernaut that is Saint Louis Scott Gallagher who have produced talent after talent. She has a division 1 athletic profile but will need to improve her positioning to really thrive at the next level.
